Read the “How to Prepare” and note the slight differences recommended here from the “What to Bring” section on the brochure. Bring a large bottle of water. Wear modest, light colored, non see-through comfortable clothes, preferably white or off-white natural fiber. Wear slip on shoes so you can easily wear your shoes to and from the restrooms, it is required by insurance policies that you wear your shoes in all public areas! A simple easy to wear and appropriate for both men and women head covering can be purchased at the course or at Kundalini Yoga East for $2 each. Baseball hats, loose scarves that fall off and colored or patterned bandanas are not appropriate. The floor is not carpeted. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, or sheepskin to sit on and a light sweater or shawl for warmth.

Yogi Bhajan Birthday Celebration Class

Tonight will be a celebration of Yogi Bhajan’s life, teachings and what would have been his 81 birthday. We will celebrate his legacy by practicing a powerful kriya and doing a special meditation taught by Yogi Bhajan himself. We will use a DVD and his image will be projected on a large screen. Everyone is welcome and there will be treats at the end of class!
